Mitre 10 and our stores are deeply and personally connected to the communities we serve and have been since our creation in 1959. Mitre 10 takes pride in contributing back to the community with each Mitre 10 store and their staff helping their local community in their own unique way. As an Australian member-owned cooperative the vast majority of our stores are owned and operated by people who live and work within the communities that we operate in. Being an active participant in our local communities strengthens relationships and helps in shaping Mitre 10 as socially responsible.

Ollie Saves the Planet Program

Mitre 10 is a proud supporter of the Ollie Saves the Planet Program. This is an interactive environmental education resource that introduces the concept of sustainability and asks users to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rethink their actions in the areas of Waste, Water, Energy, Air and Biodiversity.

Goodbye Graffiti

Mitre 10 is partnering with the Victorian Government in its ‘Grappling with Graffiti' strategy, which involves working with the State Government, local councils, police and other stakeholders to remove, reduce and prevent graffiti.
