Hybrid Flooring
Hybrid flooring combines the best features of laminate and vinyl to create a strong, stable and waterproof flooring solution that’s ideal for modern homes. It is engineered in multiple layers, with each layer playing an important role in performance, comfort and durability. At the top is a UV-coated wear layer, which protects the floor from everyday scratches, stains and fading while helping maintain the colour and finish over time. Beneath this sits a decorative layer, designed to replicate the natural look of authentic hardwood with realistic grain detail and texture. The core of hybrid flooring is a rigid SPC (StonePlastic Composite) core board. This is what gives hybrid floors their exceptional dimensional stability, impact resistance and durability, preventing movement or warping caused by temperature changes or moisture. Completing the structure is a pre-attached EVA foam underlay, which provides added comfort underfoot, reduces noise and helps create a warmer feel compared to traditional hard flooring. This integrated underlay also makes installation faster and easier.
