The bait works by disrupting the unique message system in the rodents’ brain that tells them when they are thirsty, causing them to dehydrate. The bait is multi-feed, meaning the rodents will have to consume the bait multiple times for 2-5 days in order to receive a lethal dosage. Since rodents cannot vomit, they're sure to die within 4-7 days after consuming the bait when used according to instructions.
