The Makita Slide Switch Angle Grinder Skin provides ample power and manoeuvrability to suit the needs of welders, stone masons, fabricators and a variety of other trades. It is fitted with a 125mm diameter wheel and uses a powerful 18V Makita motor delivering up to 8500 revolutions per minute without a load. The motor uses brushless technology offering more power, increased efficiency, less heat generation and better run times. This battery-powered, cordless angle grinder has a slide switch with a lock-on function, offering convenience and less user fatigue when working for extended periods of time. Equipped with a wide range of built-in safety features, the grinder has a kickback detection system, soft start and anti-restart features to prevent the grinder from kicking back or switching on by accident.
