This Makita Bluemak TCT Saw Blade 40T has been created specifically for fast cross-cutting of wood, with a fast feed rate and high cutting accuracy. This 305mm x 30/25.4 x 40T blade features a blue anti-friction coating which protects against pitch build-up, as well as prevents corrosion and friction.
A tungsten tip gives the blade its strength and stability, while the blade body features a similar blue anti-friction coating which is extremely resistant to friction and corrosion. Because it has been specifically created for cross-cutting wood, this blade has a thin kerf, at only 2.3mm, meaning less effort is required to cut through timber.
