Perfect for all levels of play. The NET1 Millennium portable basketball hoop is ideal for both recreational basketball as well as high-level practice. The pro-style polycarbonate backboard and spring-loaded rim replicate the bounce of a hoop used in the NBA, BBL or other high-level systems. To allow direct lay-ups and play underneath the net, the basket is offset from the pole, which is wrapped by a protective pole pad for safety should you overrun.
The Millennium system is fully adjustable, from the regulation height of 10 feet (3.05m), down to 7 feet 6 inches (2.28m) for younger basketball players. The height can be adjusted in seconds by simply removing the pin and moving it into place. The system is made from materials that will not rust or be damaged by adverse weather. This allows the system to be used both outdoors and indoors; perfect for any basketball court, playground, garden or driveway!
The Millennium hoop is simple to assemble at home with minimal tools required. Due to the size and solid nature, we recommend the system be built by two people. Once built, fill the base with water or sand, sand is recommended to prevent freezing in colder conditions. The wheel on the front of the base makes the system easy to move around, simply tilt the system back to 45 degrees and roll it to a suitable location. Should you wish to secure the system in one spot, ground anchors are included, however, this is not required for the system to be stable.
