No-Rot Gel is a ready-to-use, water-based brush on wood preservative, to control the spread of decay. It can also be used as localised protection against borer and termite attack, though it should never be used as a stand-alone termite treatment. No Rot Gel is formulated to naturally diffuse into the timber, up to 10-15mm in softwoods, while still allowing the surface to be painted over.
To apply, thoroughly wet the timber with water from a hose or spray bottle. Immediately apply the 1st coat while the timber is still damp and then the 2 coat as soon as the 1st coat has been absorbed, but no longer than two hours after. After the second application, use a clean damp rag to wipe off the excess that hasn’t been absorbed after 2 hours. The damp wood helps draw the product deeper into the wood.
