The 1.52 x 3m Absco chicken coop is a comfortable home for your chickens and birds; it can also be used as an animal shelter. They come with wide mesh panels for easy viewing and the all-steel construction makes them easy to clean. Proudly made in Australia from high-strength steel, this aviary comes with a lifetime warranty for your peace of mind.
Designed to be anchored to a concrete slab (not supplied). This chicken coop requires 16 anchors (4 packs), purchased separately - AX Code IHG_6418735 (ANCHOR4).
NOTE: Before use, galvanised mesh should be weathered for two (2) months or scrubbed with a mild acidic solution, such as vinegar, then rinsed thoroughly with clean water. Please check our aviary is suitable for your pet before purchase.
Assembly is more manageable due to pre-drilled holes and Absco's patented SNAPTiTE technology, enabling panels to securely lock into channels without the need for screws. For a quicker build, Absco suggests working at waist height using trestles and timbers. For sheds larger than 1.5 x 1.5m, it is recommended to have 2-3 individuals to assist in holding panels upright during the final stages of construction, with larger structures requiring additional manpower. Compared to an Absco shed of the same size there are additional components, which can make sections of the build a bit more complex. Please read the instructions carefully, watch the assembly video and check you have all parts and required tools before starting your build.
