How To Repot an Indoor Plant

There’s nothing like lush greenery to help brighten up your living space. However, that greenery can sometimes look unsightly as it outgrows its pot and starts to spread out across your table. Here we provide you with some simple tips to repot your beautiful plant and ensure it lives a long and healthy life!

DIY Project Steps

1. Get your potting mix

Select a quality indoor potting mix.

Tip: It’s important to use indoor potting mix and not outdoor as it will provide your precious plant with the right nutrients, moisture, and airflow for the indoor world.

2. Fill the pot

Fill the growers' pot a quarter of the way.

3. Use a plant support

Add a coco pole to the growers pot for plant support.

4. Transfer the plant

Gently transfer your plant to the grower’s pot.

5. Add more potting mix

Fill your growers' pot almost to the top with the potting mix (leave approx. 10 cms at the top)

6. Secure the plant

Add coco clips to fasten your plant to the coco pole.

7. Add fertiliser

Add diluted treatment of Seasol to reduce shock & stimulate growth.

Follow instructions for how to dilute on your Seasol bottle.
