Heavy Oil Preservative is a copper naphthenate brush on wood preservative contained in a non-drying paraffin oil. This product offers excellent above-ground protection against timber decay and insect attack. It can be used to protect the machined end grain of H3 and H4 treated pine* to maintain the treatment envelope, as per AS 1604.
Heavy Oil Preservative is a general-purpose oil-based timber preservative, for exterior, above-ground applications. It is an excellent treatment against fungal decay and is most suited for use for untreated hardwoods, or to give added protection to treated pine, in applications like;
