The 12.7mm (1/2") plunge router (RP2301FC) has a powerful 2,100W motor with variable speed for heavy-duty applications. The tool has been designed with convenience, durability, and ergonomics in mind. The RP2301FC has a trigger switch with a lock-on function located on the contoured handles, providing comfortable operation and easy handling.

The RP2301FC has linear ball bearings for smooth and accurate plunge action, with 3 stopper blocks providing multiple cutting depths. The depth of the plunge can be precisely adjusted in 0.1mm increments that can be monitored on an easy-to-read depth scale. The depth of the plunge can also be locked on the tool allowing for prolonged use. The RP2301FC can be placed upside down and rested on the motor housing to assist with accessory changes. The tool also comes standard with twin LED job lights designed to illuminate the router bit on the workpiece.

The RP2301FC also features several electronic features that improve operability. The tool comes standard with a variable speed dial that allows the user to better match the speed to the application. The built-in soft start module will reduce initial start-up shock, constant speed control will attempt to maintain bit speed under load, and an electric brake will rapidly stop bit rotation when the trigger is released.

  • 2,100W Motor - The RP2301FC05 has a powerful 2,100W motor for continuous use across heavy-duty applications
  • Depth Adjustment - The depth of plunge can be precisely adjusted in 0.1mm increments and can be monitored on an easy-to-read depth scale
  • Electric Brake - When the trigger is released the electric brake will engage to rapidly stop bit rotation
  • Contoured Handles - The handles are contoured and have been ergonomically designed to fit the user's hands providing easy handling and comfortable operation
  • Stopper Block - The stopper block has 3 settings to provide greater flexibility across multiple applications
  • Variable Speed Dial - The variable speed dial allows the user to adjust the no-load speed to better suit the application
  • Constant Speed Control - When the router is operating under heavy load the constant speed control will attempt to maintain speed to reduce inconsistencies in performance
  • Trigger Switch - The trigger switch is conveniently positioned on the handle and has a lock-on function for prolonged operation
  • Linear Guide Rails - The guide rails are equipped with linear ball bearings providing smooth and accurate plunge action
  • Chip Deflector - The base has a clear chip deflector providing maximum visibility of the router bit and protection from larger pieces of debris
