The Makita 36V Brushless Chainsaw 400mm Skin is a high-power cordless chainsaw suitable for professional landscapers and arborists, as well as for campers and home use. The saw features a 400mm guide bar with captive bar nuts for solid bar retention. This chainsaw is powered by a 36V (18V x 2) brushless motor with a high chain speed of up to 1,200m/min. The mains power switch includes the auto power-off function controlled with the variable speed trigger switch.
It has an adjustable chain oiling feature which lets you easily adjust the amount of chain oil to match the demands of the application. This saw is equipped with metal bumper spikes and a kickback brake for added operator safety and easier handling. The kickback brake is activated by pushing the front hand guard forward, stopping the movement of the chain almost instantly.
