Suitable for flat roofs, the VCS is the ultimate skylight that provides abundant daylight and controllable ventilation. The solar-powered skylight is operated by a Radio Frequency wall-mounted keypad (included) and is powered by a concealed battery pack that is recharged by the external solar panel – allowing operation even when the sun isn’t out. The rain sensor provides peace of mind and automatically closes the skylight once rain is detected (included as standard). With excellent energy efficiency provided by VELUX high performance double glazing, VCS block approximately 75% of radiant heat.
VELUX recommends VCS is installed with a slight pitch (e.g. 3-5°) to help reduce water ponding on the glass
