The solar-powered skylight is operated by a Radio Frequency wall-mounted keypad (included) and is powered by a concealed battery pack that is recharged by the external solar panel – allowing operation even when the sun isn’t out. The rain sensor provides peace of mind and automatically closes the skylight once rain is detected (included as standard). With excellent energy efficiency provided by VELUX high performance double glazing, VELUX Solar Skylight block approximately 80% of radiant heat.
