Start with assembling your clothesline as per the manufacturer’s instructions. Choose a wall that has direct sunlight and that is easily accessible, but most importantly has the capacity to hold the weight of the clothesline. If you do not have a suitable wall, then drop by your local Mitre 10 to get some advice on a ground mount kit.
Step 2: Installation
Mark the required height on the wall and use a spirit level to draw a straight line; recommended mounting height is usually 50mm above the user’s height. Mark the drill holes of the mounting brackets on the wall and measure the width between the brackets. Check your measurement is the same width as your clothesline. You are now ready to drill the brackets into your wall. Now refer back to the manufacturer’s assembly instructions to attach your clothesline to the brackets. It’s that simple!
