What You'll Need

• Newspaper

• Various photo frames in a mixture of styles
• Accent Quick Spray in your chosen colours.

  White Satin and Metallic Gold

Set up your space by laying a drop sheet. Place a cardboard box on its side on top of the drop sheet as a spray booth.

If possible, pop the glass out of the photo frames. If not, mask over the glass by covering it with newspaper and securing it in place with masking tape.

If your frames are painted in a glossy finish, sand back to a matt finish. Wipe the frame down with a cloth to remove any dust, or, to get into crevices, use a toothbrush.

2. Application

Take your Accent Quick Spray in your chosen colour and shake well for at least 3 minutes.

Then, hold the can upright approximately 10 to 25cm from the frame. Spray in smooth, even strokes while maintaining a consistent distance from the surface.

Allow to dry for at least 10 minutes.

Flip the frame to the other side and repeat the above. Continue until it is evenly covered in a light mist. It’s best to apply one or more lighter coats rather than one heavy coat.

TIP: Unblocking the nozzle: Prevent blocking, by turning the can upside down and spraying until the mist runs clear. Wipe with a clean cloth.

3. Recoating

Once dry, apply a second coat. Continue applying in a series of light coats until you reach the desired coverage. Do the same for the remaining frames.

4. Project Complete

Remove any newspaper from the glass and place your favourite photo inside. Use some coloured ribbon and hang baubles. For variation, use different lengths of ribbon and stack frames of differing heights and colours
against each other.

We have decorated our space with gorgeous frames in Christmas-themed colours. You can hang your frames or place them against a wall on the mantel or sideboard. Whatever you choose, they’re sure to bring some extra joy to your home.
