With serrated blades grip the material to be cut, spring-loaded handles for fast smooth cutting action and automatic release of safety catch when handles are squeezed. The blades are made from alloy steel, which is hardened and tempered for durability to increase its lifespan. The soft grip handles provide comfort and control whilst using the tool.
