- Anti-spill lock lid – minimizes the spilling of hot water even if the kettle were to fall over. Push the button to lock or release the lid.

- Power Switch – there are 2 colours on the power switch Red and Orange. Remains orange using boiling, and Red should the batteries run flat before the water finishes boiling
