How To Create a Fairy Light Tree Using a Tomato Cage

Creating a fairy light tree using a tomato cage is an easy and charming way to light up your lawn the festive season!

1. Cable tie at the top

Start by grabbing your lights and carefully unravelling them. Secure the end of the lights at the top of the tomato cage using some handy cable ties. These ties will make sure everything stays in place, making the next step easy.

2. Wrap around the cage and the bottom

Start wrapping the fairy lights around the tomato cage, making sure to cover both the cage and the bottom. Feel free to wrap it as many times as you like; we went all the way until the end. If you have any extra lights, you can even wrap them around a smaller tomato cage for a different look. Get creative with it!

3. Add cable ties to hold in place

As you move down the tomato cage, every now and then, throw in a few cable ties to keep those fairy lights securely in their places. These ties act as anchors, holding the lights in place, you can add as many or as little as you like. Once they're all in position, trim off the ends to help conceal them, ensuring a neat and tidy finish. And now you have a tomato cage fairy light tree!
