1. Prep

It’s important to remove all dust so the surface is clean, dry and free from loose material.

Dust under paint will prevent the coating from adhering to the wall. Remove loose dust with a soft brush. Wipe down the wall, including the plaster joins, with a damp cloth. Protect surfaces that you don’t want to get paint on with masking tape. Mask skirting boards and around plugs or light switches for a clean paint edge.

2. Paint

With a paint brush, cut in around edges and corners where the roller can’t reach, keeping a wet edge for rolled paint to blend evenly. Load the roller with Accent Paint & Prime In One Interior paint. Start at the top left edge and roll in an overlapping ‘W’ across the wall. Work in sections and lay-off as you go before the paint starts to dry. To lay-off, start at the top and gently roll down the wall with an unloaded roller using no pressure. Overlap slightly and work your way across the section. Allow a minimum of 2 hours for the paint to dry and apply a second coat.
